Primary Care

Primary care services provide the first point of contact in the healthcare system, acting as the ‘front door’ of the NHS. 

Primary care includes general practice, community pharmacy, dental, and optometry (eye health) services. 

There are 105 GP practices and five GP provider organisations (GPPOs) in Norfolk and Waveney.

Many of our GP practices are now using a platform called 'Footfall' which has been designed to support patients navigate through the website to find what they need, much as they might do if they walked into the surgery. Below is a short video that helps explain how it works.
