He has worked and lived in the UK, the Netherlands, and the USA, with work introducing him to many other countries and cultures. He is a qualified management accountant.

Before that time, Hein and his family have visited Norfolk for many years, with several family members living in the area. The whole family has been enjoying living in Norfolk for well over 3 years.

Hein enjoys time with the family, long walks with the dogs, playing tennis, and hitting a golf ball at his local club, where he is also finance director on a voluntary basis.
